位於東河 (East River) 邊，佔據了六個街區，以世界和平、人類福祉為構想而組成的聯合國組織，成立於二次世界大戰之後。
總會大樓、事務局大樓、議會大樓及圖書館還有很多個開放空間構成整個聯合國總部。
廣場上有很多雕像大都以和平，止戰等為主題，非常值得我們細細觀賞。
這個破裂的地球跟後面的華廈形成強烈的對比。
要進入聯合國總部必須通過超級嚴格的安檢，夏日人潮眾多，尤其這個景點是很多爸爸媽媽阿公阿嬤超級喜歡的景點，所以人潮永遠很多。我是等「長輩們」進去安檢後才能拍到地球中的我。
通過安檢進入大廳後，首當其衝的會是兩樣藝術品。右邊遠方有顆黃色金球的藝術品。
上方有條線，讓這顆金球繞著圓盤，不斷畫圈。此為荷蘭送給聯合國的禮物。
另一個則是瑞士送給聯合國的。

大廳中還有一面牆掛有歷任聯合國秘書長的畫像
現任秘書長 潘基文；前任秘書長 安南。
大樓裡面有附設禮品部，販賣各國紀念品以及明信片等。你們可以在這挑一張明信片寄給自己喜歡的人喔！裡面有附設郵局。
