寫了十篇才從中城區的最下面寫到最上面的第五大道，現在又要回到南端編號十五的時代廣場，我選擇坐地鐵。如果要我再走回去我應該會走到頭昏眼花…
時代廣場應該是我看過最繁忙的十字路口了。光過個馬路，人多到無法在時間內通過馬路，倒數時間到了汽車喇叭猛按，違規穿越人潮不斷，汽車又不敢斷然開過，禮讓行人，喇叭還是猛按，周而復始。
這裡的觀光人潮把這裡當成遊樂園，到處拍照，三百六十度旋轉，成群結隊的拍照。在這裡要吸引觀眾的目光很簡單，例如在這裡拍婚紗…
時代廣場之所以叫時代廣場，那是因為這裡曾是《紐約時報》(New York Times) 曾在這裡設立總部大樓，所以也有別名，時報廣場。
20 世代初期，時代廣場快速發展成為劇院、酒店文化的聚集地，幾乎所有的聚集或慶祝活動都這這裡舉行。
1930 年代，時代廣場因為經濟大蕭條的原因，竟然成為了情色場所。廉價旅館到處充斥，妓女、搶劫、毒品，已經成為時代廣場的代名詞，這也嚴重影響到時代廣場的觀光事業。
時代廣場恢復到現在光榮繁忙的樣子要歸功於 1990 年代中期紐約市長朱利安尼的大力整頓，才有今天我看到的時代廣場。
沿著第七大道跟百老匯大道，由 42 到 50 街，一路上都是大型商店、企業、餐廳，是觀光客最集中的區段。

43 跟 47 街的廣告高塔是大家爭相拍到的兩大景點。
躲在 2010 字樣後面的就是鼎鼎大名的跨年金球。
紐約廣場的跨年倒數活動是現在全球跨年活動的翹楚。每到午夜時分，電視台一定會轉播時代廣場！本人很榮幸的，有幸參與 2010 跨到 2011 的那個 moment，之後網誌會寫心情。
本來跨年活動原本只是大型的煙火秀而已，到 1907 年才改為水晶球降落的儀式，不過在二次大戰期間，因為燈火管制，改為靜默及播放教堂鐘聲。現在的跨年則有好幾十萬人萬人空巷的參與，成為眾所矚目的焦點。
