小義大利跟中國城就只隔一條街。但只隔一條街，人氣完全不能比。
在 1930 年代，小義大利可以說是全盛時期。這裡住有非常多義大利移民，但 30 年代開始，小義大利黑手黨橫行、治安極度惡化，導致義大利移民紛紛移往他處。而如今剩下來的移民不多，僅存餐館能繼續經營下去。
如果說堅尼街 Canal Street 是中國城的代表街道，那摩比利街 Mulberry Street 就是小義大利的代表街道。
每年九月中旬，摩比利街 Mulberry Street 都會舉辦為期十天的慶典活動，有興趣的民眾歡迎前往。如果你不知道摩比利街 Mulberry Street 在哪，那你只要看到許多由紅白綠組成的裝飾，那你大概就走對地方了，不然上面的地圖我都有弄出來給你看。
摩比利街 Mulberry Street 的氛圍跟中國城完全不一樣。摩比利街 Mulberry Street 兩旁幾乎都是義大利餐廳跟義大利商店，街道比中國城乾淨，街上很多露天座位，各式的遮陽傘，還有很多餐廳服務生會在街上拉客，也就是邀請你進入餐廳的意思，不要想歪…
這裡的義大利餐廳價位都偏高，連街上義大利冰淇淋車也都稍微偏高一些，但尤其在夏天，冰淇淋攤位遊客永遠不會間斷。
除了餐廳，周邊還有幾家販賣起司、臘腸、火腿、義大利麵條的店家可以逛，你未必會買，但參觀一下也無妨。
